My Ltd Co ceased trading this year and I have closed the business bank account and all things relating to it. The company had no debts.
I worked in financial services as a mortgage adviser and left the network who provided my compliance services about 2 years ago at which time they withheld commissions due to me/Ltd co, for life insurance business until such time as the clawback liability was negated. This time has now started to arrive and this week I received a cheque for ?1200 made out to my Ltd Co, that I cannot cash. I asked for a new cheque to be sent to me personally but this has been refused.......what can I do??
